DO YOU HAVE PLACES TO PURCHASE FOOD AND BEVERAGE AT THE PARK?
Yes. There are concessions available on site.
HOW DEEP IS THE WATER?
CAN I BRING MY OWN LIFE JACKET?
No. Participants must use life jackets provided by the WhoaZone.
ARE LIFE JACKETS PROVIDED?
Yes. Sizes Youth through Adult XXXL are available.
MUST I WEAR A LIFE JACKET AT ALL TIMES?
Yes. All participants are required to wear an approved life jacket at all times while on the equipment.
DO I NEED A RESERVATION TO ENTER THE WHOAZONE?
No. You can purchase your pass on site, but we are a first come, first serve business.
DO I NEED TO KNOW HOW TO SWIM?
Yes. We require this for your safety.
DO I NEED TO COME WITH A PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN?
If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian will need to accompany you and sign the waiver.
HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE TO ENTER THE WHOAZONE?
You must be at least 7 years old and 45” in height to enter the WhoaZone.
HOW CAN I PAY FOR MY SESSION?
CASH, CREDIT CARD or DEBIT CARD.
MUST I SIGN A WAIVER TO PARTICIPATE?
YES. Every participant must sign a waiver and have a waiver on file in order to participate.
ARE PRICES THE SAME FOR ADULTS AS CHILDREN?
YES. Each session is $20, regardless of age.
CAN I WEAR AQUA SOCKS?
Yes, aqua socks can be worn in the WhoaZone.
CAN I USE MY SELFIE STICK ON THE WHOAZONE INFLATABLES?
No. We do not allow selfie sticks on the WhoaZone inflatables because of the danger of injuring other people as well as possibly popping the inflatables. You may bring your GO Pros on the WhoaZone inflatables but if they fall into the water no one is allowed to dive under and retrieve it. You will be bringing them on at your own risk.
ARE YOU PET FRIENDLY?
No we are not pet friendly, but we do allow service dogs .
DOES THE PARK EVER CLOSE FOR BAD WEATHER?
Yes. We will be closed when the beach is closed due to inclement weather or high bacteria counts.
WHAT AMENITIES ARE AVAILABLE AT WHIHALA BEACH?
The WhoaZone at Whihala Beach offers stand-up paddleboards, kayaks, corcls and beach chairs and umbrellas available for rent. Whihala Beach offers food concessions, toilets, rinse showers, boat launch, swimming, sand volleyball courts, walking and bike trail.
CAN WE BRING OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINK IN COOLERS?
Yes, but alcoholic beverages and glass containers are prohibited on the beach.
HOW LONG IS EACH SPLASH?
1 HOUR. Each Splash includes a 10 - minute Safety Orientation
and Rules of Conduct review, which starts 10 minutes before
each session, so the actual time spent on the obstacle course is -
IF I PAY FOR A DOUBLE SPLASH DO I HAVE TO LEAVE THE WATER AND ATTEND THE SAFETY ORIENTATION AGAIN?
YES. The park is cleared of all participants at the end of each Splash. All participants will be required to attend the orientation again regardless of if they did it before.
